Quick and Easy Note Cards

Part of the fun of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is getting the Stampin' Success magazine.  Each issue is a great tool for new card ideas and inspiration.  The July/Aug 2015 issue had some simple cards (A2 size) using DSP and the Tin of Cards Stamp Set.  I used the Note Cards and Envelopes as I had some small scraps of DSP to use.  The large print is cut at 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" and the strip at the bottom is cut at 2 1/2" x 1/2".  I embellished one card with a butterfly.  I love having these cards on hand and they make great gifts!

Vamped Up Bokeh Technique!

I wanted to add a little extra pop to the "Bokeh Technique."  I used watercolor paper and aqua painters with Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo ink refills for my background.  Used Window Sheets to make a circle template with various circle punches.  Using sponge daubers and whisper white craft ink refill to make the circles.  After the craft ink was completely dry, I used my circle template to add more circles with Versamark and then emboss with white embossing powder.  The background looked so cool that I just wanted a simple hello on the front.

Catalog Case Number 5

Found on page 122.

This catalog has so many card ideas that I just had to do another.  This beauty is found on page 122.  I do not have the Little Letters Thinlits, the Bermuda Bay Thick Twine or the In Color Washi Tape.  So, I improvised with Hello You Thinlits, Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine and just used the stamp in the Gorgeous Grunge Set with the diagonal stripes stamped in Crushed Curry.
