Vintage Christmas Blessings

I wanted to make a vintage looking card and thought this stamp set "Christmas Blessings" would be fun!  I embossed the image with White embossing powder and then colored the image with Real Red Stampin' Write Marker and the center of the flower with Daffodil Delight.  Once the Real Red was dry, I went back around the center of the flower and colored again just near the center to give it some depth.  The Wild Wasabi was sprayed with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol and used a sponge dauber with Early Espresso to distress the edges.  Used some Dazzling Details in the center of the flowers.  Unfortunately, you cannot see the bling in the photo.  If you click on the photo it will enlarge it and you can see it a little better.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cindy

Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek!

The Holiday Catalog items will be available August 1st!  I used the Holiday Collection Framelits die to cut out the tree and the star, the best part is this also has a coordinating stamp set.  I thought it would be fun just to cut out the tree and place some DSP behind it and lift up the image onto dimensionals.  Some glimmer paper and Dazzling Details for a little bling.  This was very easy to make.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cindy

Triple Layer in Gumball Green

I really love the new In Color Gumball Green and the Triple Layer Technique.  I received my new stamp set Christmas Blessings and wanted to try it out.  You cannot see it in the photo, but I sprayed the Whisper White card stock with Champagne Mist (mixed with rubbing alcohol) and some Dazzling Details on the berries in the sentiment area for a little sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day,
Cindy

Christmas "CASE" from the New SU Catalog

I found this on Page 14 in the New Stampin' Up! 2012-2013 Catalog.  I changed mine just a bit, I really like Pool Party and Pink Pirouette together and used a Brights Button instead of the Vintage Faceted Button.  Used some Dazzling Details in Cherry Cobbler on the tree and the Regular Dazzling Details on the trim of her coat and hat.  Plus I wanted a little more bling so Glimmer paper it was.  I carefully used a blender pen and markers to color her as Whisper White can pill up if it gets to wet.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day,
Cindy
