Festive Snowman

I love Snowmen!  So do a few of my friends so I'm sure it will go to one of them.  Started with a 1 1/4" x 12" strip of whisper white card stock and scored every 1/8" and used Sticky Strip to adhere the ends together.  The rosette was then held down and I used Hot Glue in the center to hold it together.  I free hand cut the nose, the eyes are from the Owl Builder Punch along with the hearts on his smile.  Smile made with Oval Punch, slide paper in just a bit and cut then slide it back in and cut again, you can make your smile thick or thin depending on your taste.  For the holly leaves, I used the oval punch scored down the middle and did some more free hand cutting.  The berries were punched using the Cupcake Builder punch.  I made the bow tie with one of the Holiday Ornaments Framelits die cut twice and hot glued the center together.  To give a little definition to the tie, I used a black sharpie.  The card size is 5 1/4" x 10 1/2", stamped the snowflakes in Versamark and then sprayed with Champagne Shimmer mist mixed with rubbing alcohol for some shimmer.

Autumn Post-it Holders

Decided to make some post-it note holders, I've made some in the past but I really like the pen holder on this one!  I thought they would be hard to make but not so, super easy :-)

Cut paper:  7 3/8" x 3 1/4"
Score at:  3 1/8, 3 1/2 & 3 7/8
Fold score lines then fold just the middle score line and then cut up to the next score line twice to make the pen holder.
Fold the pen holder part out and use sticky strip and fold down to keep it in place, add 3x3 post-it notes and decorate as desired.

This weekend I'll take some photo's and post them so you can see how it goes together.

Thanks for stopping by :-)

White Christmas

I had a challenge from a friend of mine who wanted a Silver and White Christmas Card.  The tree and sentiment were stamped in Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder.  Being white on white, I wanted to add some layers to give it some depth.  The tree is popped up with dimensionals onto a layer of whisper white and then layered onto Silver Glimmer paper.  Embossed another piece of whisper white and used the Lacy Brocade embossing folder for some texture and glued to the card  base.  The Silver Glimmer paper was also popped up on dimensionals.  I hope she likes my creation!

Christmas Gift Tags

I had some scraps left over from other projects and thought I would use them on gift tags.  The Snowman face was easy, made with punches all except his nose which I stamped from the Stylin' Snowfolk stamp set, clear embossed and then cut out.  The best part about these tags is the receiver can use them has ornaments the following year.  I love dual purpose items.

Christmas Gift Tags with Holder & Envelopes

I have a workshop coming up soon and my Hostess wants to learn how to emboss.  I am going to demonstrate embossing with the Mug from Scentsational Season stamp set.  Four 3x3 cards and envelopes will fit in the gift tag holder that I made from the Scallop Envelope Bigz Die.  This will also be her Hostess gift from me.

Easy Christmas Card

I wanted to make some quick cards.  Using the Holiday Collection Framelits makes it easy.  Using the tree on the Whisper White and the star on the Red Glimmer paper layer onto Polka Dot Parade DSP pop the star up on a dimensional, stamp the sentiment and place on card.  I also added a little bling with Dazzling Details on the polka dots of the tree.  This would make a great stamp-a-stack.

Thanks for stopping by :-)

The tree was done by using the Tree Framlit  that was in the Holiday Collection.

Blossom Sympathy

I work in a Medical Office, in that office there are several Doctors.  One is very special to the practice as he is the Gyne Oncologist.  It takes special people like him to take care of those with cancer.  As we all know, sometimes there is no cure :'-(
So, I make the Sympathy cards for his office.  They really appreciate it.  I donate my cards to them knowing that some family will be touched by a hand made card.
I apologize for the retired paper and ribbon but this is what I do with it and I just wanted to share my card.  Have a Great Weekend Everyone!

Razzleberry Birthday

I needed a quick and easy birthday card so I broke out the Blossom Punch.  Love the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper!  Used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the sentiment and glued it all together.  The new 1 1/4" Scallop Circle Punch (in the Holiday Catalog on page 7) fits perfectly inside the blossom.  Did a little layering with the Boho Blossom Punch and a Rich Razzleberry Glimmer Brad and popped it up on a Dimensional.  I can see making a lot of these and just leave the sentiment off until I need a card and add what I need then!

Shimmery Snowflakes

I saw a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers where you emboss your image (Northern Flurry embossing folder) and then brayer Versamark lightly over the embossed image.  I did not use the brayer as there is just too much open space.  I lightly touched the Versamark pad to the raised areas and then applied Iridescent Ice embossing powder. Hard to see even though I tried different angles and lighting, looks way better in real life!  Do click on the photos, they will come up in a much more closer view and you can really see the shimmer then!

Sweet Shop

I had this idea running through my head for a few days now and finally got to put it on paper.  I thought it would be cute to have the gingerbread men popping out from behind the sentiment.  Used the Be of Good Cheer DSP as the background and added some Dazzling Details to the polka dots in the print.  To make it look like a little store front I used the Silver Shimmer paper Cut with Tasteful Trims Bigz Die.
