Butterfly Wishes

Just had to try the "Bokeh" technique!  I used Blackberry Bliss and Tempting Turquoise ink refills, and an aqua painter to do the back ground color.  Using window sheets and my circle punches I made a template to use with the Whisper White Craft Ink and applied with sponge daubers.  The center butterfly was embossed with gold embossing powder onto Whisper White card stock, I then used a sponge dauber and colored with Tempting Turquoise ink.  The sentiment was stamped with Blackberry Bliss and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The Blackberry Bliss will stay wet on the vellum so it's easy to emboss.  Added some fern leaves after all was completely dry and then put everything together.

Catalog Case Number 4

I don't have the Bohemian DSP, so I decided to use Cherry on Top DSP with the new In Color Watermelon Wonder.  Nice easy and simple card.

Catalog Case Number 3

Found on page 119
This is my card.

There is so much inspiration in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog.  I case the catalog to show others how easy it is, and if there is something you don't have, you can substitute it for something else.  I didn't have Old Olive Baker's Twine so I used Bermuda Bay.  Added some bling with Rhinestones and Dazzling Details in the center of the large flower.

Catalog Case #2

This has become one of my favorite stamps sets along with the English Garden DSP.  I changed it up a bit by using Linen Thread and some rhinestones on the butterflies.  I cut the Vellum card stock slightly larger than the DSP, so I could score the vellum and adhere it to the back.  There is also a glue dot behind each butterfly to help hold the vellum down on the front of the card.

Catalog Case "Butterfly Basics"

Every new catalog my upline encourages everyone to "Case" (copy and share everything)  a card from the catalog.  I chose Butterfly Basics on page 124.  I changed mine up a bit by using the Cucumber Crush Dotted Lace Trim for an extra pop of color!
