The Paper Players Sketch Challenge 156

I was needing a somewhat masculine birthday card when I came across this sketch at The Paper Players Blog and I had an idea right away!  The Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper makes it so easy to make a fast card.  Sorry I have been missing in action, seems all the young girls at work are having babies and I've been crocheting baby blankets for shower gifts!

Thanks for stopping by :-)

Sketch Challenge using Sketched Birthday!

Playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches this week.
The Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper is very bright and cheery, love it!  I cut the diagonal 1 1/2" x 6" and then using Tombo Multi Mono Liquid Glue adhered the ruffle trim and set aside to dry.  Using water color paper I stamped the cake with Black Stazon and used blender pens to water color the image and then added some Dazzling Details to the candle flame for a little sparkle.  Punched with scallop circle and layered onto the Bermuda Bay circle and popped up on dimensionals.  I glued the diagonal strip to the Coastal Cabana and then trimmed off the edges.

Thanks for stopping by :-)
