Easter Bunny

I just received my new stamp set Everybunny on Friday so I thought I would ink it up!
Really liked the Mojo Monday Sketch this week so thought I would play along.
The Bunny was stamped with Black Stazon and water colored with my Stampin' Up! Classic ink pads.  The Bunny is Crumb Cake with some Soft Suede for shadows, his shirt is Pool Party and Island Indigo.  Pink Pirouette in his ear.  The bird is Marina Mist and the egg is Tempting Turquoise, Daffodil Delight and White Gel Pen.  Certainly Celery for the grass.  I also used White Gel Pen on the Bunny tail.  I just love to color, it is so relaxing!

Thanks for stopping by :-)

Bloomin' Shades of Pink!

I am not sure of the name of this technique, but I found this beautiful card by
Karen Barber at Splitcoaststampers with a brief description of how she made her flowers.
The flowers are heat embossed in white, then with Whisper White Craft Ink and a little water I painted the flowers white and allowed to dry over night.  The paper starts to pill if it is too wet!  I used a paint brush and my re-inkers with a little water to get this creamy looking color.

Field Flowers Birthday

Did this card for my monthly club girls, ways to use your tools (Clear Blocks) in a different way!
I chose to stamp on Naturals White card stock as it gave it a little more texture when stamping with the blocks.  I found Whisper White was just too smooth.
I really like this clean and simple look.

Spring Flowers

I'm wanting Spring Flowers already, especially when the temperatures get into the 50's mid February in Central Illinois!  But, weatherman said there is Snow in the forecast.  Sigh...
So, decided to make my own bright cheery spring flowers and put them on a card!
I used the flower from the Bloomin' Marvelous stamp set
(Free during Sale-A-Bration with an order of $50 less tax & shipping)
I stamped the image at the top of the post-it note (where the sticky part is) to make a mask for the flower cut it out.  Having the post-it sticky helps keep it in place while stamping.  Staggered the flowers for some interest some little leaves and black dots.  Added some Dazzling Details in the center of the flowers for some sparkle.

Happy Day

I have had the stamp set Ciao, Baby! for awhile now and I finally got a chance to break it out!  I always need birthday cards so I thought I'd use the Happy Day stamp.  I wanted to add an image to signify that this is a birthday card and did not have anything small enough.  Then I had an idea, use the top of the cupcake from the Sale-a-Bration Patterned Occasions set!
Embossed the Midnight Muse card stock with the Fancy Fan embossing folder then popped my images on dimensionals.  Quick and easy!

Thanks for stopping by :-)
